Lets go South of the Border and head to Mexico with Grupo TMM SA (NYSE: TMM) , they are a Mexico based cargo and transport company. Now before you jump to conclusions let me map this scenario out to you. Their main business is transporting for clients throughout Mexico, whether it is trucking, railcar or container. If you cannot find a referral then you will want to look for advertising agencies and see if they offer this service. When you meet with them you will want to ask them how they receive the phone numbers to compose the texts to. In some cases you may be responsible for giving them the numbers and in others you may be placed in a co-op with other advertisers.
For the lonely freelancer who may not have agency experience, there are some guides to get your design off the ground and help your client see strong results.
Now keep this in mind that the united states may throw a trickle of business to Mexico but the bulk of that business will be here in the States. I’m now going to give you three companies in the Steel industry that stand to benefit, it wouldn’t be fair just to mention the Mexican companies. I’ve been in advertising and marketing all my adult life and I love to hear how other people market. I’m always asking my potential customers how they market and i’m quick to offer tips even when they don’t include selling them my product/service. I ask if i can call back to see how things are going – ask the best days/times to do this. When you do call back, be sure you adhere to their preferred call-back times.
Logo Modifications – You could get charged for each time you want a change or modification to your logo. If a logo designer asks the right questions, does the research and stays in close communication with the client there should be no need for major changes during the creation of a logo design. Be a good communicator and explain to the logo designer exactly what you want your logo to be saying about your business. As a designer, you should get signed approval for each modification showing that the client was in agreement at the time.
